Chunky plain braid sets

Chunky plain braids are made with 16-20 strands of  1.0mm thick satin yarn or 32  strands of 0.8mm thick nylon braided yarn, 0.8mm thick twisted nylon yarn, or some combination of the three types of yarns.  Two or more colors can be used to create a chunky spiral; some combinations of colors and shades produce a more distinct spiral pattern than others.

  Unless otherwise specified:

• Bracelets are about 7.25 to 8.0 inches long

• Necklaces are 18-22 inches long

• I make chunky pieces a little longer than the other types of braids because the thickness results in a more snug fit for the same length of braid.

• Chunky braids are about 7-8mm in diameter

• Clasps are magnetic and made of metal ; some have an additional locking mechanism

• Bracelets and necklaces are very lightweight.

• For those sets with earrings:  The earrings are made with glass or glass + metallic beads.  There are no precious or semi-precious stones; there are no precious metals.

The pieces were photographed in indirect sunlight; the colors may look different under other types of lighting and depending on the type of device used for viewing.  

Please expect to see some minor imperfections and flaws in hand-crafted jewelry.
